‘IMAGINARY LINES’ - A DOTTY LOOK AT LIFE AND LOVE. Southwell Theatre Club’s production for spring, is to be ‘Imaginary Lines’ by Reginald Oliver. Described as a dotty look at life and love, the play was originally directed by Alan Ayckbourn in 1985 at Scarborough. The title comes from the things we wish we could say, or had said, usually to the opposite sex. Asides in the dialogue provide amusing counterpoints to what the characters are really saying to each other. The playwright Reginald Oliver, is also an actor and theatre director, working in radio, television, films, and theatre, in the West End and outside London. Running from Thursday May 7th until Saturday 9th May, the venue is Southwell Library, Queen Street, Southwell, ng25 0EH. Doors open 7pm. The show begins at 7.30pm. Bar is available.
