The Summer Sizzler - a weekend celebration of the arrival of summer at Rufford! Join us on Saturday 20th and Sunday 21st June 2026 for a weekend celebration on the beautiful Abbey Lawn. Pack a blanket, gather the family, and enjoy a full schedule of entertainment, live music, and great food from 10am to 4pm.

First up: the Rock Choir: Start your morning right with iconic tracks delivered in a fresh, unforgettable new style.

Morning: The Miss Rachel Show: Both Saturday and Sunday morning, don't miss The Miss Rachel Show—a huge favourite!

Afternoon: Character Singalongs & Meet-and-Greets: Our afternoon performances feature live singalong shows followed by a chance to meet the characters for photos and memories.

Saturday 20th: Rapunzel, K-Pop Superfan, and Spiderman.

Sunday 21st: Moana, Ariel, and Spiderman.

Music, Food & Shopping Live Solo Singers: Enjoy curated summer sets performing in the middle of the day. Courtyard Makers Market: Head to the Coach House Courtyard to browse unique, handcrafted gifts and local treasures. Summer Flavours: Grab a bite from the Abbey Kitchen’s outdoor menu, a fresh slice from the Pizza Van, or a treat from the Ice Cream Parlour.

Family Fun All Day There is plenty to keep the kids busy between shows: Creative Fun: Visit the face painter for a splash of colour or a glitter tattoo. Burn Some Energy: Hit the Adventure Playground, challenge the family to Adventure Golf, or enjoy a peaceful afternoon Boating on the Lake.

Essential Info Admission: This event is FREE to attend. Charges: Regular car parking charges apply. Standard outlet charges apply for food, drinks, rides, face painting, and activities (Golf/Boating). We can’t wait to celebrate the arrival of the season with you on the lawn!
