A traditional Wassail celebration held annually at Bracken Farm in our new and developing Cider Apple Orchard - suitable for all the family.
We welcome all the family to this annual event now in its 4th year to be held on Saturday January 17th 2026. Come and join us as we bring to life an age old tradition of celebration, toasting the apple trees and wishing everyone all the best for the year ahead. The event starts with a gathering together by the orchard, short introduction to those who are new and then a walk around the 180 tree strong cider apple orchard as we scare away the evil spirits by banging pans and blowing whistles and much more! We toast the main apple tree together, hang bread in the branches and sing some traditional songs before enjoying the remaining time together with food and drink. This is a family friends event with lots of children enjoying the experience as much as the adults. Onsite parking available for the event. Sorry no pets other than assistance dogs allowed (contact organisers in advance please) Donations on the night accepted for Beaumond House in Newark.
